 Psychoeducation  teaching Anthony and his family about the nature of his obsessions and compulsions
 Somatic management  working with Anthony on ways to control his anxiety when faced with an obsessive thought
 Cognitive restructuring  help Anthony learn how to dismiss and manage unrealistic thoughts that result in compulsive behaviors
 Problem solving  work with Anthony on learning new ways to cope with his anxiety; behavior based
 Exposure  confronting Anthony with what he fears most (i.e. If I don't touch this door knob my mother will die..  have Anthony avoid touching the door knob and experience the anxiety and outcomes of his actions
