 Obsession  persistent and intense intrusion of unwanted thoughts or images
 Compulsion  persistent and intense impulse to perform a specific behavior in order to control the obsessive thought
 Most common obsessions and compulsions  fear of contamination followed by repetitive hand-washing; other reasonable responses
