Schizophrenia is a chronic state of psychosis with no known physical cause. Symptoms may include hallucinations, delusions, and other evidence of loss of contact with reality. Bipolar I Disorder is a mood disorder characterized by a history of at least one manic episode with possible alternating periods of depression.
