Somatoform disorders all involve:
 
  a) Physical symptoms.
  b) Dysphoric mood.
  c) Disruptions of consciousness.
  d) Hallucinations.

Since somatization, hypochondriasis, pain disorder, and undifferentiated somatoform disorder share features of cognitive distortions and somatic symptoms, they are listed in DSM-5 as:
 
  a) One category, i.e., somatic symptom disorders'
  b) Separately as per the type of cognitive distortions they resemble
  c) The same way as they were in the DSM-IV
