A year ago, her family moved from a large city to a smaller town. Glenda
was upset about moving in the middle of her kindergarten year because she loved her
teacher and class, and missed many of her friends.

For almost a year, Glenda cried
frequently, was touchy and irritable towards her parents, and ate and slept more than
before. Glenda is now in second grade. She does not like her new teacher and has few
friends. Since school started a few weeks ago, Glenda has cried almost every night
and has refused to eat or come out of her room. Glenda tells her parents that she will
jump out of her bedroom window if they make her go to school, and says that she
feels worthless and that nobody loves her. It is likely that Glenda is experiencing:
  a. Major depressive disorder
  b. Dysthymic disorder
  c. Bipolar disorder
  d. Double depression
  e. A comorbid mood and anxiety disorder
