Taylor's formula with Lagrange remainder for the function f  about c states that if  Pn(x)  is the nth order Taylor polynomial for f about c, that is
Pn(x) = f(c) + (x - c) + (x - c) 2 +.....+ (x - c) n
then the error En(x) = f(x) - Pn(x) is given by
(x - s) n,  where  s  is some number between c and x
(x - s) n+1, where  s  is some number between c and x
(x - s) n+1, where  s  is some number between c and x
(x - c) n+1, where  s  is some number between c and x
(x - c) n, where  s  is some number between c and x
