For the circuit shown, during the positive half-cycle of the AC input wave the


anode side of the diode is positive.


diode is forward-biased.


diode acts as a closed switch.


All of the answers are correct.



Question 2

For the circuit shown, momentarily closing PB1


applies a negative voltage to the gate.


applies a positive voltage to the gate.


switches the lamp ON momentarily.
