Answer to Question 1

Migraine pain is likely caused by the extracranial cephalic blood vessels (i.e., the blood vessels of the head that are outside the skull) dilating and becoming inflamed.

Answer to Question 2

It should be noted that children and adolescents showed greater improvements with biofeedback than adults, which is similar to other studies showing that these populations are particularly responsive to biofeedback training.
