The mythic drama triangle, the most basic prototype for fairy tales and classic stories, is often a game. It involves a persecutor (i.e., villain), victim, and rescuer (i.e., hero). For example, Cinderella (the victim) is persecuted by her wicked stepmother and her stepsisters (the villains) only to be rescued by the handsome prince (the hero).
