Answer to Question 1

There are five mini carnations. The smallest carnation is the beginning flower, add a second carnation, the distance between these two is more than the distance between any of the other flowers. Add another carnation in an alternating pattern. Add a bow below the third carnation. The fourth carnation should be near the center of the bow and the fifth should be among the bow loops, facing downward.
