Examples: Time sample recording: a teacher using time sample recording to measure the on-task behavior of a child with ADHD might set his watch to beep every five minutes and will record whether or not the child was on task when the watch beeped. Interval recording: an observer may record whether or not an individual engages in aggressive behavior during each 10-minute interval of the observation period.
