Name and define Kimmel's (1997) different levels of cultural awareness discussed in your textbook. Put the levels in order from the lowest level of understanding to the highest level of understanding. How does each influence the actions of negotiators?

Answer: Students should order the five levels as follows: cultural chauvinism, ethnocentrism, tolerance, minimization, and understanding.
