In the normal proximodistal growth pattern,
 
  A) fine muscle groups, such as those in the fingers, gain control more rapidly than large muscle groups, such as those in the arms.
  B) large muscle groups, such as those in the arms, gain control more rapidly than small muscle groups, such as those in the fingers.
