Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

Some families possess particular strengths within the family unit, such as effective communication skills and problem-solving/coping strategies. Other families are weaker in these areas. Some families have access to extended family and community resources. For example, sometimes family and friends may pitch in and prepare meals for the family for a period of weeks or months to get them through the most critical period. This community may also arrange for rides for the children to and from school, take in the children after school, and provide comfort to the individual who is ill as well as the spouse who is taking care of the house, the ill spouse, expenses, and the children.
