The student should assert that there are three factors contribute to divorce: societal, demographic, and personal. Societal factors include family, religion, law, social integration, and cultural values. Demographic factors include education, income, age, and race and ethnicity. Personal factors include communication problems, infidelity, constant conflict, emotional abuse and other contributing factors.
