Answer to Question 1

The employer's concern about facing arm's-length bargaining indicates an unethical corporate attitude. Obtaining a viable collective bargaining agreement in 1983 for a 25,000 payment and the making of monthly payments of 5,000 to both Stolfi and Casalino were egregious wrongs by the employer and by the union officials. The losers in such a corrupt arrangement were the workers.
