Answer to Question 1

ANS: A
Neurotransmitters bind to a receptor. The Nissl body is involved in protein synthesis. Neuro-transmitters do not bind to glial cells. Neurofibrils provide support for the neuron.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: C
Regeneration is limited to myelinated fibers and generally occurs only in the PNS. Regeneration does not occur in unmyelinated neurons, myelinated neurons in the spinal cord, or postganglionic motor neurons.
