2 . The message transmits to the relay service.
3 . An operator calls the medical office.
4 . When the receptionist answers, the operator self-identifies and identifies the caller.
5 . The operator then mediates between the receptionist and the caller, reading messages to the receptionist and typing responses to the caller.
6 . When the call is complete, the receptionist says goodbye to the patient, then hangs up.
