Patients with lower hematocrit levels will test falsely high. This patient's hematocrit is critically low. The serum glucose of 60 mg/dL may be a falsely high reading and the primary health care provider must be notified of this finding. The glycosylated level, and presence of albumin and glucose in the urine do not need to be immediately reported to the health care provider.
