Why do some MCPs provide a list of surgeries that must be performed in an outpatient setting?
 
  a. Because of a shared risk contract when the Group/IPA is financially responsible for outpatient services
  b. So that the Group/IPA is financially responsible for all inpatient costs in relation to the surgery
  c. Because the medical biller and examiner need to control costs of these services
  d. Because of complications or other circumstances that only the provider is aware of
