Answer to Question 1

Nebulization is another term for aerosolization. Nebulization takes a liquid medication and turns it into an aerosol (very small droplets suspended in air) that can be inhaled. The droplets of medication are small enough to pass to the lower bronchioles.

Answer to Question 2

Items that students may mention include bronchial wall thickening, bullae, flattening of the diaphragm, barrel chest.
