Answer to Question 1

A
Feedback:
Parents need to try to keep hypercyanotic episodes to a minimum and learn what steps to take if one should occur. Placing the baby in a kneechest position to trap blood in the lower extremities and keep the heart from being overwhelmed generally reduces symptoms. Lying prone, supine, or in the semi-Fowler's position will not help reduce cyanosis and dyspnea.

Answer to Question 2

D
Feedback:
Parents should limit television watching and video-game playing to 2 hours per day. Children in the United States spend about 4 hours a day either watching TV or playing video games. A child will see 8,000 murders by the end of grade school and 40,000 commercials a year. Although school-age children can determine what is real from what is fantasy, research has shown that this amount of time in front of the TVwatching it or playing video gamescan lead to aggressive behavior, less physical activity, and altered body image.
