In the Least Industrialized Nations, people have a shorter lifespan and die from such causes as malaria, internal parasites, diarrhea, and malnutrition.In the Most Industrialized Nations, healthcare and nutrition are improved, lifespans are longer, and people have the luxury of living long enough to get heart disease and cancer.

Answer to Question 2

The elderly commit suicide twice as much as adolescents.There is no adolescent suicide explosion, despite media claims.We can expect the suicide pattern to continue, if there are no basic changes in society.
