Explanation: C) Having a support network is an important buffer for stress, but the supervisor doesn't have to be part of it. The supervisor can be supportive without needing to know them personally. If that was a requirement of supervisors, they would be under a lot of stress and time pressure maintaining close personal relationships with all of their subordinates.
