Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

A work team is defined as a group whose members have complementary skills and are committed to a common purpose or set of performance goals for which they hold themselves mutually accountable. The firm will need to organize the assembly around work processes rather than traditional functions. The teams will own the assembled product on which they work. The firm will have to train the employees in several different areas to ensure that team members have a variety of skills. The type of teams developed can range from work groups to semi-autonomous work groups to self-managed work teams, dependent upon how much responsibility for decision-making is delegated to the teams and upon the extent to which the teams will be held accountable for work outcomes. Managers should be aware of problems that can arise  unwillingness to cooperate, lack of management support, managers reluctance to relinquish control, and failure to cooperate between teams. They also should consider team building and team compensation schemes, stressing the urgency of the teams mission, actions to promote cooperation within and between teams, and careful selection of team members.

Every flu season is different, and even healthy people can get extremely sick from the flu, as well as spread it to others. The flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May. Every person over six months of age should get an annual flu vaccine. The vaccine cannot cause you to get influenza, but in some seasons, may not be completely able to prevent you from acquiring influenza due to changes in causative viruses. The viruses in the flu shot are killed—there is no way they can give you the flu. Minor side effects include soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given. It is possible to develop a slight fever, and body aches, but these are simply signs that the body is responding to the vaccine and making itself ready to fight off the influenza virus should you come in contact with it.
