  (a) he/she insists upon putting people into groups rather than see them as individuals, (b) he/she is not sensitive enough to see the potential abilities of employees, (c) he/she fails to recognize special contributions that deserve a compliment, (d) he/she doesn't recognize improvement in new employees.
