The unions representative for a hospital is discussing the possibility of a strike. The representative informs the employees the first action prior to initiating a strike is to notify:
 
  1. Administration and attending medical staff.
  2. The FMCS (Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service).
  3. Medical chief of staff.
  4. The board of directors.

Question 2

A nurse is discussing with his spouse the intent of the nurses collective bargaining representations intent to strike. The spouse works for a large automotive corporation that is unionized.
 
  The spouse is concerned about the length of time the nurse may lose as a result of a strike. The nurse informs the spouse: 1. Nurses cant strike; its just a term on paper.
  2. The hospital can replace my position tomorrow if we decide to strike.
  3. The hospital has a 10-day notice before we go on strike.

Administration will notify medical staff, medical chief of staff, and the board of directors.
