Answer to Question 1

2
Explanation: 1. Workplace violence is any violent act directed toward persons at work. Violence includes:
threatening actions, verbal or written threats, physical attacks, and/or violent assaults.

Answer to Question 2

2
Explanation: 1. Disciplining the employee allows for communication regarding poor performance and allows
the employee the opportunity to improve his or her performance.
Discussing the issue of morale and monitoring staff regarding civility will not address the
issues regarding the marginal employee. Terminating the employee does not provide the
employee with an opportunity to improve his or her performance.

It most often affects middle-aged and elderly individuals, spreading to surrounding tissue in the lungs. The disease often does not respond to conventionally successful treatments, and requires individualized therapies in order to keep it from becoming life-threatening.
