2. This approach could lead to confusion with some units providing their own staff education and some not doing so; and could vary depending on who is the nurse manager of the unit.
3. This approach is the number one issuefor the CNO to represent the management group and the staff in getting the staff education they need.
4. This is important, but if the nursing department does not know how nursing education will be organized will be difficult to have a position description and know what type of person might be hire or even if need a Director of Nursing Education.
