Answer to Question 1

Often these outside organizations have exacerbated the low status of women because they address males as wage earners and are unaware of women's status in the society. However, there are also cases in which they have arranged for the marketing of women's products, which improved the economic status of women, and indirectly caused a rising tension and level of domestic violence among households in the societies as well.

Answer to Question 2

These are Chinese working women employed by factories seeking a cheap source of labor. They are often from rural areas and they live in residences arranged by the factories.
