Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

Ayurvedic physicians are more interested in the patients they see than in their diseases. He recognizes that what makes up the person is experiencesorrows, joys, fleeting seconds of trauma, long hours of nothing special at all. The minutes of life silently accumulate and, like grains of sand deposited by a river, the minutes eventually can pile up into a hidden formation that comes into view above the surface as a disease. In ayurveda, understanding what is causing stress in a person's life is integral to health and healing. Perhaps Ayurveda is best summed up in the words of Hippocrates: It is more important to know what sort of person has a disease than to know what sort of disease a person has.. In contrast, Western physicians tend to focus on the disease and related symptoms, not on the individual as a whole.
