Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

Because many asthma attacks are triggered by stress and other intense emotions, studies have shown that learning to relax using RGI can help asthmatics.

Plus, one of the following:
(1) general relaxation exercises (i.e., letting the tension go in each part of the body and imagining being in a pleasant, peaceful place)

(2) guided imagery in which the participant imagines specific biological healing mechanisms in the bronchial tubes and lungs

(3) instructions to imagine doing a favorite activity during which the participant has no problems with his or her asthma

(4) guided imagery in which the participant visualizes breathing in special colored air that completely clears the airways and lungs
