1. Denial - an emotional rejection of impending death
2. Anger - at the unfairness of the situation
3. Bargaining - praying or negotiating with a higher power to extend life
4. Depression - sense of doom, loss, worthlessness, or guilt
5. Acceptance - becomes passive and stops battling with emotions

Answer to Question 2

The skin becomes thinner and less elastic, age spots develop, and fat deposits under the skin diminish. Facial lines develop, and the skin begins to sag and lose color.
