Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

Breast milk is perfectly suited to a baby's nutritional needs. Breastfed babies have fewer illnesses and a much lower hospitalization rate because breast milk contains maternal antibodies and immunological cells that stimulate the infant's immune system. When breastfed babies do get sick, they recover more quickly. They are also less likely to be obese later in life, and they have fewer allergies. The latest research also suggests that breastfed babies may be more intelligent. One study found that the longer babies were breastfed, the higher their IQs were in adulthood.
