Answer to Question 1

As compared to cigarettes, cigars have higher levels of carcinogens and other toxins, and more tar. One cigar has as much nicotine as several cigarettes, and once inhaled, the nicotine is absorbed as rapidly. Like cigarette smokers, cigar smokers are at risk for cancers of the lung, oral cavity, larynx, esophagus, and possibly pancreas.

Answer to Question 2

FALSE

It is not a straight line, but "zig-zags" around various island chains. Therefore, Samoa and nearby islands have one date, while American Samoa and nearby islands are one day behind. Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.
