 Increase calories in a healthy way by adding foods like nuts, meal replacement bars and drinks, fruit juices, and peanut butter.
 Eat smaller meals more frequently throughout the day.
 Add calories to your favorite meals.
 Exercise to increase appetite and build muscle.

Answer: Some patients eventually gain back the weight they lost, even if they only consume small amounts of food. Others can't properly absorb certain nutrients, and some have complications after the surgery.
