Explain why an overweight person in college should be concerned about his or her weight now, rather than believing that the problem should be addressed when they get older.

Answer: A younger person should be concerned about weight because being overweight or obese increases his risks for developing type 2 diabetes, coronary artery disease, certain types of cancers, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver disease, osteoarthritis, gallbladder disease, sleep apnea, abnormal blood lipids, stroke, and hypertension.
Answers to the second question may vary, but could include: make healthier choices when eating fast food and walk whenever there is a break between school and work.
