Click Select on the Menu bar, and then click Existing Encounter. A small window will open from which you may select the desired encounter.

EHR nomenclatures differ from billing codes in that they are designed to codify the details and nuance of the patientclinician encounter. Billing codes are designed to represent the exam, service, or medical supply.
