Answer to Question 1

Multiple regression for analysis of nonexperimental data analysis. It is only for interval and ratio-level data. Power of multiple regression is an ability to control for many variables simultaneously. R-squared is the percentage of prediction accuracy, 20 percent is very good in social science, meaning that independent variables explain 20 percent of change in the dependent variable. Percent is based on improvement over zero. Beta coefficient tells size and direction of effects on each independent variable's
impact on a dependent variable.

Answer to Question 2

Form - relationships between two variables can be independent, linear, or curvilinear. Independence or no relationship looks like a random scatter with no patter Direction - positive relationship means higher values go with higher values. negative relationship means higher values on one variable go with lower values on the other. Precision - measures association - high precision occurs right on the line. Amount of
spread among the points indicates precision.
