Power of multiple regression is an ability to control for many variables simultaneously. R-squared is the percentage of prediction accuracy, 20 percent is very good in social science, meaning that independent variables explain 20 percent of change in the dependent variable. Percent is based on improvement over zero. Beta coefficient tells size and direction of effects on each independent variable's
impact on a dependent variable.
