E

Answer to Question 2

Rapid movements involve the quick, visible movement of material. They are most dangerous and frequently cause death and property damage. They can involve any type of material and typically occur on steep slopes.

Slow mass movements are detected only by their effects such as cracked foundations and tilted trees and power poles. They are responsible for the majority of transport of weathered material.
