There are five basic location factors: natural resources, connectivity, productive labor, market demand, and capital investment. for local economies; a city such as Los Angeles, for example, has minimal natural resources, but high levels of connectivity, large supplies of productive labor, high levels of market demand, and high levels of capital investment.
