Most cultural hazards are those that humans purposefully expose themselves to because it is culturally acceptable for them to choose to do so. Smoking is an excellent example of a cultural hazard that makes an environmental impact. See Stewardship, A Cultural Hazard Worsens Other Risks.

Chemical hazardschemicals that cause acute, subacute, chronic, or delayed responses in humans, carcinogens, teratogens, immunotoxins, hormonally active agents.
