Answers may include: be consistent with your nursing care;
always explain who you are and what you are doing; allow
residents to remain independent and in control of their lives as
long as possible; as residents' dementia increases, provide more
assistance with activities of daily living; check on residents
frequently; and provide daily exercise according to residents'
habits and abilities.

Nursing assistants can help a resident express their sexuality by
assisting residents with personal hygiene and helping them look
attractive, being encouraging and positive, and supporting
friendships among residents
