Making students aware of ineffective clinical behaviors indicates that ineffective clinical behaviors stand in the way of attaining the goal of providing safe, effective patient care. If this goal is not met, the long-term goal of program completion is jeopardized. Role-modeling how to conduct evaluations of others indicates that role-modeling is a desired outcome of clinical performance evaluations.
