Rationale: Subluxation at the level of C7-T1 is possible and this area can be extremely difficult to image. Misalignment at this level could be a cause of patient paralysis.

Rationale: Tungsten is the preferred target material because it ahs a high atomic number, has a high melting point, and thermal conductivity. Its high atomic number improves efficiency. Its high melting point prevents pitting and cracking. Its thermal conductivity dissipates heat.
