Answer to Question 1

ANS: F
The scrub person should say the name of the drug as it is being handed to the surgeon to prevent a medication error.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: T
The FDA regulates drugs and pharmaceuticals, but not dietary supplements, herbs, and home remedies. The manufacturers may include a disclaimer that the substance is not approved by the FDA, but yet promote their products as treatments for everything from baldness to weight loss.
