functioning and slow the progress of the disease in 20 to 50 of clients. They do not provide a
cure. Memantine affects N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors and has also been shown to provide
significant benefits when administered with donepezil. Options 1 and 3: Medications affecting
dopamine action or glutamate receptors are not indicated in treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
Option 4 is untrue.
