Answer to Question 2

C
Basic goals for chronically disordered mental health clients are to achieve stabilization and maintain the highest possible level of daily functioning. While he may be able to function outside the institution with help and support, the chronicity of his illness does not make it realistic to expect that he will return to pre-illness functioning, or be able to purchase his own home. Effects of antipsychotic medications must be assessed and addressed, however, inpatient hospitalization is not a primary goal.
