Answer to Question 1

ANS: A
Amenorrhea is common in patients with eating disorders, possibly due to altered hypotha-lamic function. The remaining options are not usually related to changes resulting from an eating disorder.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: D

Workplace competition with men would be of greater significance than this broad statement. The biologic tendency to be overweight may influence some persons.
